What is Select Disinfect Misting Services?
Select Disinfect is fast and effective, and will kill viruses and bacteria on hard or compacted surfaces, including SARS-COV-2, the coronavirus that causes the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).

What disinfectant do you use?
Select Exterminating uses disinfectant recommended by the Centers for Disease Control. 

Is the disinfectant you use safe?
Yes. Once application is applied, you will need to allow up to 2 hours dry time. 

How effective is the disinfectant?
Our disinfectant has been approved by the EPA for use against SARS-COV-2, the coronavirus that causes the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).  The disinfectant meets the EPA’s emerging pathogen requirements for viruses showing efficacy against envelope and non-envelope virus, both large and small.  

Where do you apply the disinfecting mist?
Select Exterminating experienced professionals will apply the disinfectant to walls, floors, and interior structures.

How does the application work?
The disinfection mist is applied in fine particles that slowly settle onto surfaces. It kills 99.9% of bacteria and viruses, kills fungus, mold, and mildew at the source and inhibits growth, sanitizes 99.999% of bacteria on food-contact surfaces with no rinse required, and eliminates odor at a molecular level, not by masking with fragrance. 

Is the disinfectant environmentally friendly?
The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is currently reviewing the way third parties will be able to carry “green” claims on all disinfectant labels. EPA policy at this point does not allow “green” claims to be placed directly on any disinfectant product’s label. While our disinfectant is mild on skin, hard surfaces, and fabric, and will certainly qualify for “green status” when the designation is allowed, we cannot advertise this claim until it is permitted by the EPA. Select Disinfect is also a powerful disinfectant able to kill some of the toughest and most resistant forms of bacteria and mold. The chemical composition of Select Disinfect is such that it has a minimal impact on the environment and contains no ozone harming volatile compounds (VOC).
